Reply with quote | #1 | For all the wedding photographers here, who's done these? How successful were they? How expensive were they and was it worth the money? What did you use for your display? There's a big one coming up in Jan. at the Boston Exp Center, and I don't know if I am ready for it, can afford it, or should not even consider anything like this. it's not like a craft fair - it's VERY competitive. Any input???? __________________ Jesserie Leavitt

Reply with quote | #3 | I am in the process of booking my first bridal show for January. It's a smaller community show (wouldn't dream of doing the big "National Bridal Show". For an 8x8 booth it is costing me $795 for a 2 day show (Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm). Keep in mind all the extra costs associated with the show (hydro for your booth $100, prints for display, signage, business cards, brochures, give aways, etc.) I figure the total budget to be about $1500, but if I book 1 or 2 weddings I'll be ahead so it's worth it. The show also offers an on line booth (an add on the show website with a link to my website). This is a month charge, and is a good way of boosting the exposure as well as the # of links to your site which increases your ranking with search engines like Google. __________________ Deb Schwab
